I'm Debbie and  the face behind In Our Little Room. I have over 30 years of teaching experience with ages ranging from birth through adults. As a former private piano studio owner/instructor, former Kindermusik educator/studio owner/mentor/trainer, and preschool teacher, I have much experience to share. I have a BA in Music , an AAS in Early Childhood Education, MACTE Montessori Certification and a certificate in Early Childhood Reading (based on the Science of Reading) from the American Montessori Society (AMS). 

I started In Our Little Room as a way to share photos of what the children in my classroom are learning. Like the majority of Montessori educators, I make many materials for my classroom. I realized that others may benefit from what is working for us (why reinvent the wheel, right?). Consulting and tutoring eventually followed.

In Our Little Room is dedicated to providing valuable resources and guidance for Montessori primary teachers, preschool classrooms, homeschool families, and parents. My printable materials are thoughtfully designed to enhance the learning environment and support the educational journey of young learners. I am passionate about fostering a love for learning and creating engaging educational experiences.
